Why would AgResearch scientists want a runway show at Air New Zealand Fashion Week?

It was obvious to our creative team that high tech wool products and world class kiwi science had its own sex appeal. We needed to find a promotional vehicle and event concept that was outside the square but made kiwis realise the importance and cool factor of science and agriculture with an event idea that truly showcased the world-first fabrics Agresearch scientists had developed.

Digital Station worked behind the scenes with Agresearch senior management to architect and engineer this event concept and branded experience which according to Communications team generated over $700,000 dollars of media publicity and exposure. The show goes into its second season in 2010.
