Touch Panel Display for Stingray Bay

Kelly Tarltons Underwater World constructed a new exhibit called Stingray Bay. We were called on to develop a creative concept for an enormous 5m x 3m interactive display to support the new exhibit. The immense size of the touch-panel was a first for New Zealand, creating unique design challenges in terms of scale and deployment.

Dominating the display are two large back-lit stingray images (topside and underside views), where users can touch parts of the ray and view associated information on respective LCD screens. Aimed at people young and old, we used clear rich imagery to create a fun and engaging interactive experience
